Hello Bridge Friends... Many of you have been aware of a man named John Waters whom Sarah Itobi-Parker met and befriended. He is regularly at our Charles Town Wal-Mart asking for financial help. Due to the generosity of those who give to theBridge Benevolence Fund, weve been able to assist John and his family (wife, four children, and mother) quite a bit recently. First of all, thank you for being so willing to help! Your giving hearts shine through whether we are helping folks in the community, improving our facilities, or giving to orphans in Haiti! Second, any funds that you give toward benevolence are used to help people in our church family / others were connected to in our community with basic needs. When you give to the Benevolence Fund, those monies are used exclusively to help in that way. Third, if you see John Waters at Wal-Mart, feel free to help him out if you want. Introduce yourself to him and let him know that you care. Its exciting to see how God is working in his situation! -Pastor Tim
