Hello CCCC member! As you may be aware, our club hosts a number of Western Cape Canoe Union races throughout the year in support of Western Cape Canoeing and the Western Cape Canoe Union. On the 10th of August we will be hosting our 3rd Alfies to Roberston race which is a 38km K2 race on the Breede River. We hosted a very successful race last year which we’re certainly aiming to improve upon this year! We’re looking for sweeps to assist with water safety on the day as well as approximately 35 prizes. The prizes typically range from wine, to tie downs, to water proof pouches etc. If you’re available to assist with water safety/sweeping on the day and/or have any ideas for prizes or the sponsorship thereof, please can you let me know.
