Hello Cellos You might like to know of a super concert coming up. Ensemble Bon Accord Aberdeen Art Gallery 3.00pm Sunday, 3rd November The main item here is Ravels Introduction & Allegro for harp and ensemble but Ive also made transcriptions of and will be playing a few wonderful and very famous cello solos including The Swan & Allegro Appassionato (Saint-Saens) and Elegie (Faure) which are all upper grade pieces! Ive attached a programme for you to see what were going to play. The concert will only last about one hour and entry is free though we are holding a collection for Macmillan as part of Shelagh Reids fundraising effort that weekend which will also include a concert in the Music Hall given by Aberdeen Chamber Orchestra with a programme including Gershwins fab Rhapsody in Blue (piano soloist: Blair Cargill).
