Hello Classmates! It seems like only yesterday that we were all Green Wave Seniors at NHS!! But years have gone by much too quickly. NOW is the time to get together & remember the great times we had, plus catch up on what is happening with us today. We are in the process of planning a joint class reunion for the Classes of ’73, ’74, ’75, ’76 & ‘77. Here is the plan: starting on Friday Sept. 12, 2014, meeting at Anna’s Restaurant for a mixer at 5:00 pm, then moving on to Ragsdale Field to attend the football game between NHS & Montcalm HS at 7:00pm. There will be a section in the bleachers for everyone to sit together. On Saturday, Sept. 13 at 2:00pm a tour of NHS has been scheduled. NHS has had many changes that have improved the high school since our days there. While we are touring the school, we would like to honor classmates who have passed away from ’73, ’74, ’75, ’76 & ’77 in the gym. And to conclude our week-end – there will be a dinner/dance at the Narrows Fire Department Activities Building. Happy Hour will be at 5:00pm, dinner at 6:00pm and the dance will start after dinner approximately 8:00pm till 12:00am. Dinner will be catered by Country Kitchen of Christiansburg. Music will be provided DJ Rick & Company. BYOB is OK for the dinner/dance. As a special feature - there are several retired teachers that will be honored at the Saturday night dinner. These teachers were the backbone of our school days & this will be a great way to show appreciation for their years of service at NHS. Included with this letter is a questionnaire to be completed and returned to our committee by April 30, 2014. Please include a payment of $35.00 (per person) which is the total cost of the week-end.
