Hello Crossroads Family, This week we will begin a new series - TopicsExpress

Hello Crossroads Family, This week we will begin a new series based on the Old Testament book of Judges. If you have never read this part of history according to the Bible before it should really come with a great big CAUTION label attached to it. In other words, it’s not a part of the Bible to leisurely pick up and begin reading while sipping on your morning coffee. I encourage you to read it as we begin studying it together but I will tell you that many questions will flood your mind and you may even ask “what’s that doing in the Bible?” However, the beauty of such a book is to make known a real God and real people. God doesn’t withhold the ugly and gross parts of sin when unraveling His story. He doesn’t try to sugarcoat His creation and make it all look neat and tidy. The Bible tells the story of real and imperfect people who encounter a real and perfect God. There are characters revealed in this book which will shock and amaze you. Some bold, strong and faithful; others, well, not so much. The underlying, yet obvious, message is that God is the one and only hero of the story we are living. I can’t wait to worship with you and begin this new adventure through Judges! DID YOU KNOW… 1. Ladies - the Fall Retreat Treasured Pearls of Grace registration has begun!
