Hello David, I understand your concern and I appreciate - TopicsExpress

Hello David, I understand your concern and I appreciate the fact that there’s a lot of interest in seeing this project move forward. Our Department (Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal) is responsible for managing the project. With 24 hours after tender closing on November 7th, we completed the bid evaluations and submitted our recommendation to award, to the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. We have all the documentation ready to go for the award, and we have had discussions with the successful general contractor, however, we are not permitted to award the project until Government has provided confirmation of funding approval. Please be assured that we will be proceeding with contract award immediately following confirmation of funding approval. Thank you for your interest in this matter, and please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned at your convenience should you have any further questions in this regard. Sincerely, Tom Gouthro, P.Eng. It has been almost 2 weeks since the tender closed and I was wondering why it has not been awarded yet.I have worked for some of the companies who bid on the school. When we bid jobs of this size with these companies we usually found out the winning bidder the day after the tender closed. Any thing that you could tell the people of River hebert about the school tenders would be appereciated David Le Blanc
