Hello Dear Friends, Can two walk together except they be agreed? (Amos 3:3) The tension and disagreement in our nation (and in our homes and churches) is a spiritual problem. Having abandoned the larger Truth, we now squabble over lesser matters. The only circle that is big enough for all people to stand in together is God. He has many opponents, but no equals. Many critics, no substitutes. The New Testament church (thank God for their example) flourished in a declining Roman empire, not by finding consensus with secular thought, but by preaching (and suffering for) a spiritual vision of truth, one that had power to unite people of all races, languages and backgrounds. This spiritual vision, so lacking in our day, is still the only path to peace. Sunday is going to be a great day. An important day. Please pray for spiritual light to shine into the hearts of our congregation. Sunday morning our text is Ephesians 2:11-22. Sunday evening is Time for Teaching - Bible. Believing. Christian. - What Christians believe about the Bible. Invite friends. Be an evangelist. Reach out. You promised. Peace on Earth, good will to men the angels sang that first Christmas Eve. They finally saw the opportunity. What the world had hoped so long was finally possible, and still is. Im inviting every member of the FBCSA family to be here on Sunday.
