Hello Dear Friends, It has been a while since I wrote.... Several weeks ago Orest said Mama. It was not very clear at first, but now it is a very clear and strong Mama. I love hearing him refer to me this way again. He wants and tries to make the sound P very hard, but is not there yet. We are at school every day, at the therapy after and, then an hour of homework with his grandma. he has at least an hour of workout with his grandpa to finish the day. Orest is slowly getting better and the progress is not stopping for even a week. He is getting faster and stronger. Today at recess while Orest was having a snack, a few girls ask if they can sit with him. Afterwards he walked to the kick ball field and tried to run around. The boys would let him hit the ball a few times. Later a few boys from his class came up to me and asked if they can play ball with Orest. He was so happy and excited and nodding and smiling and we all played ball together with like 6-7 kids. Kids are feeling more comfortable to ask to play with Orest . Orest loves it. He misses playing with a bunch of boys and girls that are running around with a ball. He so badly wants to fit in.... We will keep looking and trying more alternative treatments. We are not going to stop. Without your generous donations we wouldnt be able to do this with Orest and I want you to know that everything is extremely expensive and many kids arent able to get alternative therapy and treatments because their parents dont have the financial means to pay for it. It is very sad and that makes all of you a big part of Orest recovery and our family Thank You for the support and generosity. Big Hugs to all of you from our family!
