Hello Educators! I bought the books 1.Educator as Mediator of Learning and Curriculum Studies on kalahari.I found out after that I could not copy or share or forward to anyone. If you have Computer and Internet access, maybe I can give you my username and password, then you can follow the download process and be able to read the books too. I dont know if Kalahari shall allow many people to keep downloading, but we wont know unless we try. Let me know if you want my username and password then download & read the books for the Exams. Good Luck! This is the Kalahari download process: Reading eBooks on your Windows PC Steps 1 and 2 are once off. Step 1: To install Adobe Digital Editions Click this link to open Adobe’s website in a new tab. Under the heading “Adobe Digital Editions Installers”, download the Digital Edition by clicking on “Windows”. This is a safe download that comes from Adobe, which is a trusted source. Double click the downloaded file to run the installer. Follow the default instructions to install the application. The program will place an icon on your desktop as well as an item on your start menu to help you find the program. You have now installed Adobe Digital Editions. The next step is to link this program to your kalahari Library Box so that you can read your eBooks. Step 2: Authorize Adobe Digital Editions Double-click the icon on your desktop to launch Adobe Digital Editions. Hold down Ctrl and Shift and then hit the D key. If nothing happens then move onto the next step. If a dialogue box opens that says “Erase Computer Authorisation” then click the button that says “Erase Authorisation”. After that, click “okay”. Now select Help from the top menu bar in the window. From the dropdown list, select the first option “Authorize Computer”. A window will open that will ask for your Adobe ID and Password. If you don’t have an Adobe ID and password, click “Create an Adobe ID” and fill out the form. Fill in your Adobe ID and password in the Authorize Computer screen. Your Adobe ID is the email address that you registered with. Use the “Forgot my Password” link if needed Ensure that there is no tick in the box that says “I want to authorize my computer without an ID” in the bottom left hand corner. Now click “Authorize”. The window will display a message to confirm that your computer has been authorised, so you can click the “okay” button. Step 3: Downloading an eBook Downloading an eBook you’ve already purchased. Sign-in to your kalahari profile. On the top right hand area of the screen, select “Account” Then scroll down until you see your Digital Library. In the bottom right-hand corner of that box, click “show Library Box”. A list of all your eBooks will appear. To download any of the books, simply click the “download” button next to the title. Once the file has downloaded, double-click it and it will automatically be added to Adobe Digital Editions. Purchasing a new book Sign into your kalahari profile. Shop the site for the eBook of your choice. Add it to your basket and then complete the payment process. After payment is received you’ll be prompted to download your book. Click download, and the downloaded eBook file will appear at the bottom of your browser Double-click that and it will be added to Adobe Digital Editions Step 4: Opening your eBook to read it Double-click the icon on your desktop to launch Adobe Digital Editions.
