Hello Elite Academy of Dance Families! I hope that everyone’s holiday season is off to a great start! It’s hard to believe that it’s almost the end of the year already. The past few months have flown by! I wanted to reach out to you about a very special program that we are proud to be connected with here at Elite. You may have noticed the large toy donation box that we currently have in our lobby. We are hosting a Toy Box for Cal’s Angels, a local 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission of granting wishes and financially assisting kids fighting cancer. The toys and gift cards collected during the 2014 Toy Drive will be handed out to children and their siblings by Cal’s Angels at hospital parties hosted monthly at Lurie Children’s Hospital. Requested items for boys and girls (infant – 18 years) include the following (please, no board games or stuffed animals): Gift Cards (any amount) to Target, Best Buy, iTunes, Walmart, etc. – these are used for children 13+ LEGOS, Trucks, V-Tech toys, Action Figures, Puzzles Baby Dolls & Barbies Scrapbooking/Craft Kits, Art Supplies, Play Dough Sets Preschool Puzzles & Toys The Cal’s Angels Toy Box will be at the studio through January 10th. Any and all donations are very much appreciated, and will make a big difference in the lives of these special children and their families!
