Hello Everybody! I have an extremely important message for all my Facebook friends and supporters regarding an unprecedented endeavor that I am initiating within New York State. It will serve to advocate for those with autism and others vulnerable toward bullying. I am planning an event with the New York Blood Center (NYBC) in which they are going to be hooking me up to a phlebotomy machine, and I will be donating blood while simultaneously giving an anti-bullying speech. It will serve to advocate for those on the autism spectrum while hopefully replenishing some of the blood supply in New York State that is critically low by making people less hesitant to become donors. I am also doing this in honor of my friend, Josephine Bila who lives with Beta Thalassemia Major and needs transfusions to live. (josephinebila) Josephine Bila is another public figure who has helped many individuals. The professionals that I am hiring to film and publicize the event for the NYBC are all insisting on payment, which I guess I can understand because everyone needs to make money in this economy regardless of how altruistic something may seem. The cost of the endeavor will accrue to well over two thousand dollars, however. If anyone knows how I can obtain grant money then definitely let me know so I may make this come to fruition!
