Hello Everybody!!! We have officially hit the half way mark in Randys Treatment!!! That is a really good thing. He says that hes on the platuo and hes crawling and digging in to get to the downward slope. This week has been the roughest since weve been here. He has lost about 30-35 lbs total since this journey began. The doctors told him that if he doesnt reverse the trend or at least maintain for more than one week they will put treatment on hold. That was the fire that he needed. We have finally begun using his tube and he is really working on eating also. So hopefully this week will be better. They have told him that his fatigue should improve and some of the other things too, if he puts a little meat on his bones. Hes been fortunate enough to not have any cluster headaches throughout this whole thing. We are trying to adjust some of his headache meds and possibly do away with them to help with treatment. He is also still getting acupuncture and the dr said that he would also work on the headaches. We have t-shirts in!! A BIG THANK YOU to our cousin Pam for getting this going for us. If you have ordered a t-shirt, and not sent your money yet, please let me know if you need an address or paypal info. I will be happy to get it to you. On another fundraising note...my friends from Regions Bank and Oak Grove are doing a rummage sale for us. It will be on Sat., Aug. 16th at the First Church of God in Oak Grove. If you have anything you would like to donate please get in touch with Nancy Travis Lebrija, or Virginia Standifer Smith and they will be more than happy to help you out. There will be T-shirts and paracord bracelets there as well. We are continually blessed by our surroundings and the people that we run into on a constant basis. There is a method behind the madness. Im just grateful that we are opening ours eyes to see it. Thank You all so very much for your continued thoughts and prayers. You can never have too many of those. And you all are in ours also. Thanks also for keeping my mom in your prayers. She is finally home and resting after 4 weeks in the hospital and rehab. She is one strong woman, you cant keep her down for long!! Much love and prayers, kim and randy
