Hello Everyone, As you all know, we have planned a weekend meeting with Drentsche Patrijshond enthusiasts/owners and their dogs on the 16th and 17th of May, 2015. Here we can all get to know each other better. We can eat, drink, talk and walk together. In other words, enjoy a relaxed weekend. The intention is that we meet and stay at Luhrsjöbadens-Kamping in Hästveda. This camp grounds is in south Sweden close to Malmö. It is a days drive from The Netherlands. If you cant or dont want to stay at the camp grounds, there are a hotel and vacation houses available nearby. There are also small huts with bunk beds to rent at the camp grounds. If you are interested in staying somewhere other than the camp grounds, please let us know as soon as possible. Some of the participants from Sweden can help find alternative accommodations if needed. The final schedule will be provided at a later date. First we want to know who will be attending. We expect participants from The Netherlands, Denmark and all of Scandinavia. On Saturday we plan for everyone to meet for coffee/tea and a tasty treat. Then we can all lunch together. Later a nice walk, and in the evening, a barbecue for everyone. So in short,,,,a great time for all! Wouldnt it be wonderful if everyone brought something along. We could taste each others recipes, or try a specialty from another country. What a treat! This way we can all meet face to face, and get to know each other in person, instead of just on Facebook. Those who wish, can participate in the international show in Hässleholm on Sunday. There are already many who have expressed interest in the show. Wouldnt it be fantastic to see a large number of Drentsche Patrijshonden at this show. That has never happened at a dog show in Sweden,,,,until now. After the show, we plan to eat together, but this depends on who will be attending. This is a private initiative with the goal that everyone can get to know each other better. Everyone is welcome. A few Staby owners, who are also familiar with our breed, would also like to attend....no problem. The possibility of riding together could be discussed later. What a great way to save on costs, and it is certainly much more fun. In short, there are still many things to organize, but it will all come together. What we want to know is...who is coming.
