Hello Everyone, Could I warn anyone who goes to apply for a loan to buy a house to Santander....this was how my mum was treated today, I have sent them this email. I would like to make a complaint about the way my mother Mrs. Margaret Carolan was treated at the Huyton branch this morning, my sister and I were present when our moter was asking for a loan to buy our family home but because it was to buy a house they could not give the loan, even though we had most of the money the house is £24000, my sist was to give £12000, mum has £6000 and all we needed was a further £6000 but they refused, mum has been with the bank for over twenty years and has NEVER asked for anything and has NEVER been in arrears, she was rightly upset and gave one thump to the table, she was shouting too but, because she was upset but she was told that they will not tolerate her actions and said they will write a check for the amount outstanding in her account to send to her but they are closing her account and will not be allowed to be with them anymore, whether or not it was just a threat I dont know but, if they carry out those actions, I think my mum has been unjustly treated. Thank you
