Hello Everyone, I hope that you have all had a successful final exam break and that the summer is looking positive! I want to start by introducing myself as the newly elected President of the UCCCA as well as my executive team: we are all very excited to begin our work developing the message of Conservativism on campus for 2014-2015. The executive for the upcoming year are: President: Sam Hossack VP Internal: Keean Bexte VP External: Chris Carlile VP Events: Adam Strashok VP Communications: Brian Huff VP Marketing: Braden Muenchrath VP Membership: Don Macleod VP Finance: Nick Boots Past President: Michael Smith During the summer months the executive will be working to create a plan for the year and ensure that each of our platform goals can be addressed throughout the course of the year. If you have any suggestions or would like to provide feedback at any time, please ensure that you email the club or speak with an executive. We want to ensure that we do our best to represent each and everyone of you on campus and in the community, and want to ensure that you are given the opportunities you desire. Finally, one of our members has asked that I pass on to all of you an opportunity to become involved in the Confederation nomination race: there will be a meet and greet event with one of the nominees (Susanne DiCocco)on Wednesday at 7:00pm in the Last Defense Lounge on Campus. If you are interested, the link to the Facebook event is here if you would like some more information. Stay tuned for other opportunities to become involved! If you have one you would like to share, please make sure to email the executive so that we can let the membership know about it! If you are still writing exams, best of luck! If you are done for the year, enjoy your summer! I look forward to speaking with all of you soon. Cheers, Sam Hossack UCCCA President, 2014-2015
