Hello Everyone.... I pride myself on not feeding into rumors and - TopicsExpress

Hello Everyone.... I pride myself on not feeding into rumors and chatter. I hear something once... I ignore it... twice... I giggle.... third time... I roll my eyes... 4th time...I get annoyed... 5th time... I must address it on Facebook and here we are. I will do this once... I will continue to remain professional and not put people on blast, however, I feel that my name and my reputation is being questioned and this I will not tolerate. It is being said: 1. I am afraid to compete because of the amount of guys in Mr. Continental. Lets see, I am a former Mr. Black America, National King of Hearts, USA, Renaissance, and United States... and a 9 time US national dance champion...1st runner up at Mr. All American, and 2nd runner up at Mr. Continental... trust me... I am not afraid to compete. After winning my Regional Competition for All American Gent last week...it is obvious that I was truly ready and unafraid. 2. It is being stated that I received $3000.00 in sponsorship from Carolina Continental. I have received $0.00 monies in sponsorship from Carolina Continental..and/or any organization associated with Carolina Continental and the national organization. I would never... EVER take monies and not use it for its purpose. Previously when I reigned and competed under the sponsorship of Carolina Continental years ago, I received sponsorship and it was used for the best talent presentation of my career... pictured below... my relationship with the Carolina Organization was outstanding...therefore I am not one to use sponsorship monies other than putting it on stage. 3. As everyone knows that another contestant (who I consider a friend) was crowned at the preliminary even though it was determine that it was a mistake in the scoring...and I won the top title at Carolina Continental... I was promised a photo shoot, crowning presentation, and sash... none of this happened as it was promised, however, I did get the $250.00 cash the next day. However, even-though it was said these things would happen, I never got angry and just moved forward. As all involved seems to have wanted to sweep this under the rug...and I have documentation that the mis-scoring was not a mistake...however, the promoter of Carolina Continental was not involved in that( I am confident that she would never fix a contest) but that is rumor and second hand too...and will be treated as such.... however, I remained professional and just let it go. 4. I have moved on... however, I do not want to be in a position that I must go there and put people on blast. I have made copies/screen shots of every single email correspondence in regards to all of this. And I can easily proof that I am not a liar, and/or a thief... that I conducted myself in a professional manner and actually have forgiven all of those that have done me wrong. So I kindly ask... for those of you who continue to spread rumors to stop. As then I will be forced to show documentation that will put individuals in a negative light. We are all human, and we make mistakes... Good people sometimes makes bad decisions...and I will assume that this is what happen. I wish the Mr. Continental System the best, as I have no negative feelings... as I believe that God has a future out there for me that is positive and bright... and he has made the decision that this was not to be in my path... good luck to all competing this weekend... I have now address this issue directly... I ask everyone... please... Lets leave it here... and focus on the outstanding men competing at the competition and allow me to focus on my national pageant in two weeks... Much love and respect to all.
