Hello Everyone, I wanted to take a moment apologize to everyone who is confused about the PYP Summit. Yesterday I got a call from my dear friend and Makeup Artist Tanya Robertson who made it clear that.....nothing was clear. Heres the short explanation. The NEW Date: APRIL 18-20, 2015 Originally I was going to do the PYP Freelance Business Development Summit in October while I was teaching my 4-Day portfolio building and marketing workshop. However, it meant that I was NOT going to be able to connect with any of you during the Summit. The change made it possible for me to teach the 4 classes that I am NOW on the schedule to teach. Two on agencies, one on portfolio building and another on marketing. I received numerous calls from disappointed artists who said, Do you mean that youre not going to be teaching any classes? Oops! BAD IDEA! Next, it wasnt going to be EXCELLENT without more time. Someone asked, Well arent you going to be embarrassed to change the date? No I said, Embarrassed is not being able to fly your speakers in and put them up in the hotel that you promised. Changing the date is a detail that EVERYONE will get over and be quite happy about having more time to PLAN to attend the Summit! I know that I am. In all the years that I have been doing my workshops no one has been able to say, it was disorganized or unprofessional or lacked value. I wasnt about to start with the #PYPSummit. People expect EXCELLENCE from me, and that expectation gives me a reason to get up and RISE to the occasion daily! THANK YOU! I wont repeat what Kevin James Bennett said to me, but it was classic and began with.....Gurrrl, ..... I do love HIM so! I hope everyone agrees with me that this was a good decision. I know that my team thinks so, and every single speaker that was initially on board said, No worries Crystal! Wow! The new date is April 18-20, 2015. SAVE IT!
