Hello Everyone! On Saturday July 26th we (The Heacham Pocahontas Players) are putting on a war time show, in aid of Scottys Little Soldiers and The Far East Prisoner of War Association. Commemorating the 100 years since the start of World War I. There will be a First world war 30 minute Play written by David Oakland. A 30 minute 2nd World War play written by Jimma Race. In between these plays will be melodies of War time sing-a-longs. ,of the Old Pub Songs ie Roll Out The Barrel , Maybe its because Im a Londoner, By the Light of the Silvery Moon , Down at the Ol Bull an Bush etc etc Also, a melody of 2nd World War songs ie Well meet again, White Cliffs of Dover, There will always be an England etc etc NOW, I am up to the BIG question?!!! . . . . Would you like to come and join us, with the singing. We start rehearsing MONDAY 31st March (tomorrow) at The Wilton Road Hall from 7pm-9pm. All songs will be put onto CD for you to take home and practice with?! (with song sheets) We would really appreciate your help! If tickets sell well, we may have a Matinee performance on the same day. The 2pm show, is such a favourite for the Elderly. Its going to be Fun.
