Hello Everyone! We really need HELP for this lovable baby! I have a 6 month old Mini Dapple Dachshund/Jack Russell Terrier cross puppy that needs a wonderful home. His first home did not work out very well after 2.5mos and I rescued him back because he was underweight and had a rub sore on his nose from being kept for long hours etc where he did NOT want to be. I have learned that no matter how stable and professional someone may seem, you can never tell about how someone will treat a dog. :( You can tell them all the information in the world about care, the breeds likes, dislikes, needs etc but, if they do not utilize any of that information things may not end up so well. Soooo, long story short, I will spare you all the frustrating details unless someone asks. He was not hit or beaten though, I will say that. BlueBoy is a darling little fawn/brown Dapple with part of a moon-eye on his left eye. He has always had a wonderful personality and disposition. He loves to run like the wind in a nice big safely fenced yard, he loves to romp, roll and wrestle with his litter mates. He minds very well and loves to be picked up and held and hugged. He gives kisses and lays his head on your chest if you tell him you want a hug. He has one of the sweetest dispositions Ive ever experienced. He would be happiest with a family with children that he can run, tag, jump and play with or even another dog or two after they are acquainted. He is still being housebroken and really,...hes doing very well at this point. He was paper potty trained as a baby puppy and will go outside if you let him out and tell him to go potty outside. I dont think he is ready to be left for hours inside and hold though so, he still needs some training there. He was never leash trained with the person, but I have put him on a leash several times and he was a breeze for me. I thought he did very well. My apologies for the length of this post...I try to give all the info I can. If Ive left things out, just Ask. I probably have forgotten something! :) Here is a picture of him from 2.5 mos ago, I will send you a current photo if asked. Im not sure about posting his photo with the rub mark on his nose as it is still healing up. Vet says it will heal completely up and will look pretty normal for the most part. :) I got him his first 2 rounds of puppy vacs and the previous owner said he has had the 3rd about 2.5 mos ago and has tags but didnt give me the tag. I have to get this info from another vet. He is on Frontline Plus bcs he had fleas. Heartguard prevention given by me this week. $50 re-homing fee.
