Hello Everyone and Hello Monday Morning, You Came Wayyyyyy Toooo Fast!!! LOL How is everyone doing today? I pray your weekend was wonderful!!! I had lots of boys (7 to be exact) at my house this weekend, but thats always fun and an adventure!! LOL Love my boys!!! Do you wish you had made better choices along the road of life? Do you wish you could go back and change things? There is always something that we wish we had done differently, but the fact remains weve made the choice and we cant go back!!! What we can do is start from where we are right now and begin to make better decisions for our life from here on out. The thing Ive found that gives me the best direction and the most grounding is praying about things before I move on them, boy has that saved me sooooo many times!!! You wont always do it right, but you can do it right most of the time, so lets start today and begin to pray about direction in our life, your childrens lives, your family and those around you...you could help create a whole new future for you and those around you!!!! Think of the possibilities!!!! I have to admit, Thanksgiving has sort of snuck up on me!! I knew it was coming (as it always does), but I seem to be a little less prepared!!! Well, Im kicking it into high gear and starting to plan my menu already! Here is a pie I plan to make this year, see what you think? Its pretty straight forward and you do the filling right in the slow cooker/crock pot, so how hard can it be? LOL Let me know what you think if you decide to try this one out, its really yummy!!! Ok, So Its Time To Have Some Fun In The Kitchen, But Make It Quick, Because Youve Got Some Life To Live!!!! Darcy Diva Delish Slow Cooker Caramel Pie Ingredients: 2-3 (14-ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk 9-inch graham cracker pie crust (I make my own) 8 oz. container frozen whipped topping, thawed (like Cool-Whip-I use French Vanilla) English toffee candy bar, coarsely chopped (like Heath or Skor-I make my own, it tastes much better) Chopped nuts or chocolate pieces for topping (optional) Directions: 1.Pour condensed milk in a 1 quart slow cooker. 2.Cover & Crock for 6 to 7 hours on Low or until the milk is the color of peanut butter, stirring with a wire whisk every 30-60 minutes. 3.Pour the milk sauce into a graham cracker crust and cool in the refrigerator. 4.Spread whipped topping over top of the cooled pie and decorate using chopped candy bar pieces, nuts and/or chocolate bits. (Halloween option: use candy bar pieces and candy corn to create a pumpkin face) 5.Cover and chill until ready to serve. Thought For The Day: “Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” – Carl Bard (Love, Love, Love this one!)
