Anonymous Hi I have a 3 year old son who had hes first seizure 22nd November but has gone on to have 4 tonic clonic seizures. Hes seizures have never lasted less than 30 mins and hes needed rescue medication and oxygen every time. Hes eeg all came back Abnormal and he was diagnosed with generalised epilepsy. He has has absent seizures daily. Hes on epilim twice daily, apart from the odd side affect he seems to be really adapting well to this. He hasnt had any tonic clinics for just over a month since he started on meds. He still has absent seizures on most days but he handles then very well. Im constantly living on edge because I dont know if and when hes going to have another seizure. Its worrying me sick. Is it possible that he may never have another seizure? I still dont know what triggers them or how I can help to prevent them. I would welcome Any advice x
