Hello Everyone (family, friends, FB friends and my Dear Close Friends. I am back from my Wonderful Europe Vacation. . I just cant describe the beauty I saw for my first visit. For those of you that have had the great pleasure to visit the countries over the water I am going to give you my Itinerary. Day 1 We started off in Venice, Italy - with my first gondola ride (1 hr. - I had to have) then lots of time in St. Marks Square. Day 2 Was at sea {which everyone needed - with our very long flights to get here}. Day 3 Dubrovnik, Croatia Where I walked the wall (all 545 steps which included up/down) Then I walked that wall!! it surrounds the entire square the wall walk was approx. 1-1/2 miles - the views, you could see for miles, such beauty, got caught in the rain on the wall. Saw the very old churches (couldnt do the cable car :-( the lines where to long. Day 4 Kotor, Montenegro which was a walking tour, so clean and very pretty. (more churches). Day 5 Kerkira & Corfu, Greece. . . so much to see Loved Corfu, very long day 7-1/2 hours. Day 6 At Sea the second one and the last one. Day 7 Naples Italy - (what can I say I LOVED Italy and I got to have 4 stops there) Our day at the Isle of Capri, first we did the jetfoil ride cruise, had a great lunch took in all the beauty of Capri - this was an 8 hr. tour. Day 8 Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel in the Vatican & Peters Basilica - - -The most Beautiful things I have ever seen. There No types of photos that could do this justice!!!!! (everyone should see). Day 9 A Taste of Tuscany: Lucca, Villa Lucchese & a Farmhouse where they wined and dined us. Food was Fantastic (they served different wines with each course, five in total. The views were Beautiful, could have done without the villa. Day 10 This tour was Jewels of the Cote dAzur: Nice, Eze & Monaco.This was my longest day 11-1/2 hrs. Norm did a shorter one only 5 hrs. (he said he couldnt do way too long) sissy he didnt do Monaco & the casinos. Steps, steps and more steps on this tour. Soooo Beautiful - remember NO cameras in the casinos!!! they took them from everyone and checked them. I didnt know there were two casinos new & old and completely different. (Couldnt get the Leaning Tower of Pisa in, :) it has to be one tour or another cant incorporate not enough time). Day 11 France - Marseille Provence Highlights: Gordes & Roussillion Today was a very wet day rain most of the time off and on. So we were not able to see any of Marseilles town, very disappointing. Lots of country side thur the bus. very pretty sights. (just our least favorite country because of the changes they had to make due to the weather. Day 12 Spain - Barcelona Highlights What a beautiful place!!! Of course yet another church. . . they are all just beautiful - you must know after seeing the Vatican & Sistine Chapel nothing compares in the wonders of all the artists and there own Beauty of there brushes. I know this is very long . . . I hope you all enjoyed thru my eyes, with it being my FIRST visit to Europe, I would go again in a heartbeat, although the recovery time for this old lady has been long now on my third day an at 95% and the laundry Im on my second day and counting, Lets not forget my ironing still to come (this weekend) . . . I must say it is ALL WORTH IT!!!!!! Hope you enjoyed me going on and on. I will be trying to add photos. . . wish me luck!!!
