Hello Everyone here is Aug News letter ________________________________________ Dear Parents: Please Remember: - That on September 1st, you have to pay the annual $50.00/child supply fee. Please add this to your September fees. -Please ensure that you provide extra clothes for your children at the daycare. We often need clothes for a number of reasons (splash day, accidents, wet weather, etc.) We do not have any extra clothes at the centre to let the children borrow, they must have clothes here and everything should be properly labeled. -For parents with children in infants and toddlers please ensure that you send bottles and utensils properly labeled. Lots of kids have the same things and even though we are careful in separating them we need your help in labeling. -ensure that lunches that come from home are nutritious try to include 4 groups at each meal,1-Vegetables & fruit, 2-Grain and products, 3- Milk & alternatives, 4 Meats & alternatives, and not too repetitive. The children become tired of the same lunches and we do not provided lunches to compensate for the ones being brought from home. As well this affects us in meeting the accreditation standards. -Remember that if your child is sick he/she can’t come to the center. The child has to be at home at least 24 hours after the last symptom ex: fever at night, vomit, diarrhea, allergic reactions etc. Remember that it is our job to protect your child and the rest of the center from an epidemic or contagion. I know that this is inconvenient for some parents but it is for the well being of everyone. We are aware that there are many policies but these are in place to protect the daycare and your children. These have been added to our parent and staff Policies and procedures manual. As we approach the new school year, we would like to take the time to remind you of these policies. Aug- 9 field Trip to Devil’s Dinosaur Museum for Preschool and Kindergarden. Please mark on your calendars the 11 of August, as this day we will be hosting our BBQ day. Where!? This year we will be having the BBQ in Pavan Park, we have reserved the picnic shelter in the park from 11am to 3pm. Here you will find different activities like water games, face paint, coloring and astro jumps in different areas within the shelter! Please join us on this awesome day as it will be our pleasure to serve all our parents! Hope to see you there!!! ________________________________________ Queridos padres: Queremos Recuérdales que: - El 1 de Septiembre el costo de materiales que deberán cancelar una cuota anual por $50. Por favor añadir este valor a sus obligaciones de Septiembre. - cerciórese que nos envíe ropa extra para sus niños. La necesitamos por diferentes razones (día de agua, accidentes, clima húmedo, etc.). El Centro no posee ropa extra que se las pueda prestar a sus niños, es por ello cada uno debe tener ropa extra en el centro y todo debidamente marcado - A los padres de párvulos e infantes por favor marcar todos los utensilios y biberones ya que son idénticos y nos confundimos así tengamos la precaución de revisar necesitamos su ayuda para esto. - Asegúrese que el almuerzo que viene desde casa sea nutritivo cumpliendo los 4 grupos de la guía de alimentación de Canadá 1- Verduras-Frutas, 2 Cereales y derivados, 3 Leche y productos alternativos, 4 Carne y productos alternativos, y no tan repetitivo. Los niños se muestran cansados y rechazan su almuerzo en el momento de recibirlo y recuerden que la guardería no provee almuerzo y esto nos afecta para cumplir los estándares de la acreditación. -Recuerden que si su niño esta enfermo no puede llegar a la guardería debe estar en casa mínimo por 24 horas después del último síntoma ej. Fiebre en la noche, vomito, diarrea reacciones alérgicas etc. Recuerde que es nuestro deber proteger tanto su niño como el resto de la guardería de alguna epidemia o algún contagio. Sé que esto es inconveniente para algunos padres pero es por el bien de todos. Estamos conscientes de que existen muchas políticas y pólizas que cumplir pero estas están ahí para proteger el centro y los niños. Éstas se han adicionado en el manual de pólizas y procedimientos, en el manual de los padres y de las maestras. A medida que se acerca el nuevo año escolar, queremos tomarnos el tiempo para recordarle dichas políticas. Gracias por su apoyo en estos asuntos y esperamos poder trabajar con ustedes en los mismos. En el parque PAVAN Park, tenem,os reservado de 11 am a 3pm para ustedes donde encontraran actividades diferentes de agua, pintura en la cara, coloreado y brinca brinca en direntes areas acompanenos sera unplacer atender a todos nuestros padres.
