Hello FB Friends I hope all is well with each of you. I’m doing incredible! It’s so amazing how you can pull strength from your prayer warriors, supporter, cheerleaders, etc. The number one sentence I repeat is, “push, push push, you have to do this because there are so many people pulling for you to come through this”. FB friend, I need some assistance. I would like to give a little background first: We have gotten a huge amount of support for groups, Organizations and individual family and friends just to name a few: My home church “Fort Bethel Baptist Church” had a benefit fundraiser for me. They organized several church choirs to come out and sing. I was an awesome concert. All proceeds went toward car maintenance, gas, housing and living expenses. We live 2.5 hrs away from Birmingham AL. It was much needed support. Delta Sigma Theta set up a charity account through BB&T in which donations can be made to, and used for medical bills and co-payments, purchasing food and supplies while recovering in Birmingham, and again household management. Georgia Tech Professional Education, where my husband work, purchased and donated pre-packaged meals, catered food and collected monetary donations & for our family. Kenley Waller spearheaded getting our 3 year old twin girls back in Pre-School at (Arthur M. Blank Family Youth YMCA) after having to remove them in February 2013 from the Pre-School they started attending at 8 months old. It was due to financial difficulties. Kenley Catering & Sandwich Shop, spearheaded a Fish Fry Fundraiser on the Sam’s club on Mtn Industrial property in which all sales proceeds when toward medical, travel, and living expenses with removing from LVAD and 1st Heart surgery. The Jordan family donated a significant amount of household furnishing to the Williams family. Unfortunately, we have not been able to move due to me being in and out of the hospital plus having to resign from my jobs since 2007. We live in an older home and it must be up to code in order for me to come home. My immune system is almost totally suppressed which means I can catch an infection of any kind immediately. We are trying to get everything together before Lashan gets home. We need a referral to an Interior Decorator, movers and someone who know about treating mold in the home.
