Hello FB friends.. Alot has happened since my last post. Faythe Scheulen had a setback on Wednesday developing Aspiration pneumonia so we got her on meds and finally got to get her home yesterday afternoon. Very busy with Home Health bringing oxygen, suction, humidifier for oxygen and just learning it all. Its kind of overwhelming at times. She is doing some better. Of course fatigue but pain is improving. There could be additional surgery necessary but the specialist wants to give her throat an opportunity to heal and see what improvement we see. She sees him the week of Thanksgiving. For now she has to concentrate on getting her strength back, adjusting to the trach, and improving swallowing hopefully. Thanks for prayers.
