Hello FCR! The Waterfront Park 5k/10M Race is this Sunday January 18. The venue and 10 Mile course are much improved over the previous 2 years. The venue has been moved to European Village so that there will be adequate on-site parking. The 10 mile course will cover much of the former Feet to Feast 15k route. The 10 mile course mill follow the intracoastal waterway to Waterfront Park, the shell path to Colbert ,and the Graham Swamp Trail to approximately where the Feet to Feast 15k turnaround was near the Old Kings Road Trailhead. It is an out and back course with over 4 miles on dirt trails. The 5k course will run from Under the toll bridge to Waterfront Park and back. The 10 Mile run will start at 8:00 am. The 5k will start at 8:10 am, allowing the 10 mile runners to be clear of the intracoastal pathway by the time the 5k racers reach Waterfront Park. The forecast is for temperature in the 50’s.
