Hello Facebook, As some of you may know I have been grappling with the decision of where to continue my academic research and instructing as I begin the pursuit of my Ph.D in Communication studies. I was caught between continuing my studies with the university where I have become comfortable and familiar with my surroundings, and completely uprooting to move across the country and start from scratch. At this time I feel it best to take my academic talents to Tempe and join the Arizona State University Sundevils for the next four years. Their program, faculty, funding package, and overall atmosphere have assured me that I will fit in not only as a scholar, but as a person. My heart will always be in the New Jersey area, but I believe that this is the greatest challenge for me - to move on and compete for my third degree...not one, not two, not three...oh wait, yeah, three. three degrees I want to thank all of my friends for being so supportive of my decision and encouraging me to chase my dreams and follow my gut. Hopefully, in four years, I will be dealing with a similar decision in where to begin my career not as a student, but as an educator, a researcher, and an overall kickass dude. I am beyond excited to begin this next chapter of my life, and on that note Ill stop hamming it up.
