Hello Facebook Family, I want to thank everyone for all the comments I received from my performance on the David Letterman show. This performance was not only for me; it was for each and every one of you. As Ive mentioned previously, your loyalty is amazing and I never take your caring for granted. And I know that Ive been blessed to have each of you in my life. I wish that all of you could have witnessed all the beautiful people who surrounded me last Tuesday. The musicians were so kind and honored to meet me--for which I had to pinch myself. One in particular was Bette Sussman who played keyboards. She said that she had waited all these years to meet me and was honored to have been given this chance. I looked at her with surprise and let her know that I felt the same way about her. She is such a beautiful spirit. Words cannot express enough about my background vocalists: Angela Workman, Keith Fluitt, Elsa Cornish, Nicki Richards, Tawatha Agee, Curtis King, Jr. They were the best of the best! And the mastermind, I cant forget--Paul Shaffer. I thank them all with much gratitude. But most of all, I thank you--all my friends--for traveling this journey with me. And we all know that we never traveled alone on this journey; there was always the Creator moving with us and guiding us. And when He says BE AND IT IS, then it will. Love to all always, La La
