Hello Facebook, I wanted to bring to your attention an immediate need for our flower baskets. This year fundraising has been down from previous years and after paying for the baskets last week - we are in dire need of fundraising efforts for the flower baskets. As it stands, if we continue to pay for watering/ maintenance we will have completely emptied the account to $0 by mid- July. This will cease all operations of the program and leave us with nothing to start from for the future year. In the future, pending fundraising we may need to reduce the total number of flower baskets. This effort is supported by community donations. The Chamber Foundation/ MainStreet Program pays for the baskets, watering and maintenance during the season. Each basket costs approx. $85 each season to plant, water and maintain. Donations are tax deductible. We have raised $8500 but are still $5000 short of what is needed.
