Hello Facebook friends. As I take a break before settling back down for some rest... I am wondering HOW LONG Hickory Smoked Turkey Breast lasts??? Ive had some since around Thanksgiving, and 1/2 a lb of what was a lb sliced, is still in its plastic resealable bag. It was frozen thawed about 2 days before Thanksgiving. And, I just made a sandwich of it with American cheese and brown mustard. What happens if it goes bad? Does it get slimy? Does the smoking make it possibly last a few weeks longer? Anybody know what to look for besides blue and green spots?
