Hello Facebook friends and family I am writing on behalf of my mother who went into surgery on the 16th of this month. At that point the surgeons went into surgery believing that she had Uterine Fibroids; however, they found a very large malignant tumor taking up the majority of her abdominal cavity. At this point we do not know the specific type of cancer we are dealing with, but because of the extent of the growth and the frail state of my mother, many have serious doubts as to whether she will be leaving this hospital. My mother Connie Haines is a mother, sister, daughter, friend, confidant and lover to many and we are blessed to be surrounded by friends and family that are supporting us both through this very difficult time. I am sharing so that all who choose can send prayers, loving healing energy and light. There have been a couple requests for contact information or a place to send cards if they so choose.
