Hello Faith family – There are many signs of life in God’s church. Just last Sunday, we celebrated with 7 people who followed the Lord in baptism. Those people attested to the transformative power of Jesus Christ. After the service, another person gave their life to Christ and two others came forward for baptism. What great evidence that God is working! This Sunday, we will experience another indication of God’s work: deacon ordination. Join us Sunday morning at 10:30 for the ordination of Josiah Murphy. During the service, we will hear Josiah’s testimony, listen as he answers biblical questions, and pray over him as he begins this new journey. Many years ago, these services were held in the afternoon. For this service, we would like to have as many of our people in attendance as possible. Sunday mornings allow us that opportunity. As we saw last week – our worship service is about the glory of God. As people share testimonies and are baptized, it is to God’s glory. As we ordain deacons, it is to God’s glory. I, for one, am thankful to be a part of a church that is seeing God move. And I believe that the best is yet to come! Fred Broome, Lead Pastor
