Hello Family and Friends, Well first of all hope you all are doing good still and staying strong in the gospel. Well first of all I would like to thank you all for the support and your prayers on my behalf while Im still here in the mission field. Well it is now November, so amazing to see how quick the time is and also how much is changing with you all and also myself right now. Well I would like to wish all those whose birthday is this month, I dont remember really well who but if it is your birthday this month, hope you have a blessed one with many more birthdays to come. Well with me here in Tuvalu, we are doing good both me and my companion, this past week we tried setting up appointments and tried to make use of every time that was available to see someone. So with that, a few of the highlights this past week was 1 We had a lesson with one of our less-active sisters, she has been having hard times and facing all sort of challenges in her life, she has been less-active for a while due to those things in her life. Well we were teaching her on things that could be hard. We also shared verses from the Book of Mormon which she said to us these things you are sharing has made my day, I came to work feeling down, I know that God loves me and the gospel is always there to help me, I just forgot about it. Well the Book of Mormon can really help us in time of need, when we are down, say a prayer and turn to the scriptures for the comfort that you will feel from the holy ghost. I love the Book of Mormon 2 We started teaching one of our investigators who just returned back from one of the outer islands of Tuvalu. So we taught her the Gospel of Jesus Christ which is the steps that will help us in gaining happiness in this life and also to help us gain our salvation. Well we taught her, again the spirit so strong in the lesson, we also have been practicing to ask better questions, the spirit helped us a lot do that in the lesson and we ended up inviting her to be baptized. So she accepted it, there a lot of people who have been prepared by the lord. We are just his instruments in his great work. One of the other highlights have been the visit of Brother Vaaulu from Samoa and Brother Qaqa from Fiji. They came over to look for the land here in Tuvalu that we are hoping to build our first chapel at! Well with that they are still in process with that, but we had an enjoyable visit with them, Brother Vaaulu is well known man to our family from Samoa. Well we talked a bit, he is still a funny man, really cool to talk to. Well he hugged me the first time we met, he is like man, you really have grown up, from being naked in Samoa to now being a big kid serving a mission. He is looking old now, has a cool job, he also came with a few koko samoa which we will using soon. Well below is a photo of me with brother Vaaulu and brother qaqa. Well hope you all like this weeks update, carry on strong, wish you all a blessed week, stay strong in the gospel, like the words of Elder Ballard in the recent General Conference, Stay in the boat Till we meet again Love always Elder Vole
