Hello Family and friends of Runner For Christ Ministries, we hope this note finds you safe in the care of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. My name as most of you know is Gerald Overall {A.K.A. Pastor O.} and you also know that I am the pastor of RFCM. What you may not know is that not to long ago from this day the LORD Jesus Christ asked me to raise $100,000.00 (one hundred thousand dollars) for the repair and updating of the place he would give us worship & praise him, preach his word and teach his members in. I am happy to say that all the members of RFCM have responded positively to our request and they are doing there very best to make sure we reach our goal. As pastor I am very humbled and thankful to God for there generosity and for sharing there the financial blessings that God gives them with us. And now we want to extend an invitation to all of you who are willing and whose hearts have been touched by the LORD to come along side us to help us in reaching our financial goal. If you are willing and decide to come along side and to help us to reach our goal we need you pray for and with us this prayer. LORD God our Father, we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, for you to bless RFCM to reach there/our goal of raising $100,000.00 for a house of worship. Kind and generous Father we are also asking you to bless & increase the finances of all those who come along side us to help us in this effort. Amen We are basing our request for your assistance and Gods blessing on you on this passage of scripture. 2nd Corinthians 9:6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written: “They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.” 10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. I will not tell you bunch of lies like the one I heard the other day. They said, that God needs 300 people to sow a seed of $1000.00 in the next 17 minutes and God is going to bless you in the next 17 minutes with 17 blessings. Or like this one called the “Jabez Seed” it goes like this, if you sow $1000.00 seed God is going to bless you with what he gives me. Example; If God give me a mansion God will give you one. Or if God gives me a Rolls Royce he will give you a Rolls Royce. I will not tell you lies like that to raise money because God will only do what God said he would do in his clearly revealed word. We are not erecting a tent in the desert like the children of Israel were asked to do for God but we are preparing a house for RFCM members and friends to worship the LORD God our Father in and we are humbly asking your help in accomplishing this task. This is the Word of God that we are standing on in seeking this financial blessing from you. Exodus 35:Then the whole Israelite community withdrew from Moses’ presence, 21and everyone who was willing and whose heart moved them came and brought an offering to the Lord for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments. 22All who were willing, men and women alike, came and brought gold jewelry of all kinds: brooches, earrings, rings and ornaments.
