Hello Fellow Cookevillians and Former Cookevillians. Something terrible has happened to someone we went to school with, and, for some of us, someone we went to church with at 1st United Methodist Church in Cookeville. Sarah Watts, now Sarah Garrison, is trying to pick up the pieces after her mentally ill husband had a breakdown and nearly destroyed their home. He is now in ICU and they are in need of help. From what I understand, Sarah needs a front and back door, 3 windows, sheetrock, and paint. Shes staying with her mom and the phone number is 931-432-4253. Her moms address is: c/o 1625 Dellwood Ave., Cookeville, TN 38506. She didnt ask for money, but Im sure she could use some to help cover the damage since insurance wont cover it. Her husband also destroyed any electrical device in the home, including ripping the thermostat off the wall, clocks, calculators, telephones, computer, etc. Please join me in donating any small dollar amount you can, along with supplies or gift cards from a building supply store.
