Hello Fellow Sai Kungers!! I have been incredibly saddened by the situation of Meriam Ibrahim in Sudan (the woman who has been given a 100 ashes and death sentence) due to marrying a Christian man (although she is a Christian herself) and was forced to GIVE BIRTH CHAINED TO THE PRISON FLOOR... She is now in the Sudanese prison with her NEWBORN DAUGHTER and 20 MONTH OLD SON... There were originally reports that they may free her but that turns out that the Sudanese govt may have only been trying to detract media attention, without truly intending to free her (they have done this in the past). I have been showing my support for her through Amnesty Internationals website but really want to see her released along with her 2 children. I would urge you to take 30 seconds to go to this link and sign your name and email address as the letters are being sent to the appropriate Sudanese official. Alternatively, if you leave me with your email address, I would be happy to spend a few hours this afternoon inputting all of the names, email addresses, etc. on the Amnesty Internationals website.
