Hello! First off thank you for doing what you do. I help our local Pound in Pittsburg Kansas which unfortunately is a high kill shelter. We hold dogs for 10 days wants they enter the Pound and if not claimed, there is a chance they will be put down. Thats where I come in along with all of my recur friends who fight for these precious dogs. Pittsburg KS has a BSL a for Pits which I think is totally wrong, but the city will not change the law. With that said, the citizens of Pittsburg arent educated enough to realize the BSL or just takes a chance of getting caught. Presently, we have two gorgeous sweet boys in desperately needing homes or rescued. Are you in a position to help or know of anyone I can contact? Too, its very difficult finding transportation for them once someone commits so any suggestions there too would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time. Here are a few pictures of the two presently in the Pound. Both are male, and not neutered. We dont always have a history on the dogs that come in because they are usually strays coming in. If you want to see more pictures please let me know. FYI a-the ears on the first boy are not messed up. He was just so excited to see grass that it was hard to get a picture. Again, thank you!
