Hello Fox Co. Family and Friends!! Just as you are starting to get adjusted to your SITs being back at Basic Training after Victory Block Leave, they are diving right back into training full force. Since returning your SITs have done Combat Live Saver training (CLS...which consists of them learning how to administer immediate live saving techniques to a casualty until/so they can be transported to receive proper medical attention, they completed the Confidence Obstacle Course (COC… where there are multiple obstacles to test the confidence of your SIT. Such as Jacob’s Ladder, a 30ft wooden ladder they must climb up and down; the 5 Wall, which consists of 5 walls varying in size that they must go up and over only using their battle buddies help; and the Skyscraper, a 4 story structure they must maneuver up and down in 4 man buddy teams) and finally they learned some Combatives (where they essentially learn hand-to-hand fighting skills). I was able to catch up with your SITs at the COC and doing some exercises in front of the Company preparing for Combatives. As always I have done my best to capture as many of your SITs as possible. Hope this helps brighten you day! :) Have fun searching! ~Nina~ *Please don’t forget to participate in the Basic Training for New Army Families by completing the Army Family Team Building (AFTB) certificates online!
