Hello Foxtrot Co. Family and Friends!! You and your SITs are on the home stretch, the back 9, 3rd and Goal…umm I ran out of sports metaphors, but you know what I mean…lol, it is a little more than 2 weeks away from Family and Graduation Days!! Your SITs have been keeping up their busy pace since entering BCT…in the past 2 weeks they completed the following training exercises; the Confidence Obstacle Course (COC… where there are multiple obstacles to test the confidence of your SIT. Such as Jacob’s Ladder, a 30ft wooden ladder they must climb up and down; the Slide to Victory, a 40ft zip cord they must complete and the Skyscraper, a 4 story structure they must maneuver up and down in 4 man buddy teams), Medical Situation Training (MST…where they have to practice how to evaluate, perform first aid on and evacuate Soldiers injured in combat situations), their second Field Training Exercise (FTX…which was 3 days this time), Bastogne (where they learned to fire two different machine guns, the M240B and M249, a M203 Grenade Launcher and an AT4 shoulder fired weapon which looks like a bazooka to me) and finally they completed Remagen a practice and then live Grenade Range. No worries, everyone is safe and sound and has all of their fingers and toes…at least all the ones they came to BCT with…lol. I was able to catch up with Fox Co. and take pictures at Remagen and the Company Area! Please save any or all pictures of your SIT or you think might be your SIT, as we will be deleting all the pictures on this page by the Monday after Graduation. And if you are planning on coming to Family and/or Graduation Day please remember to come visit us at the FRG Tent to pick up your CD of EXTRA PICTURES of all 6 Companies that WERE NOT featured on FB!! They are free but donations are greatly appreciated as it is only through the donations of past family members that we are able to provide the CDs to you.
