Hello Friends, Family, Cohorts and Colleagues, Today I was given excellent news that also leaves me in a wake of sadness. Highland Park Independent School District has hired me to a leadership position in the design and implementation of a new endeavor they are embarking upon in Elementary Spanish Curriculum. I begin this fall. My family is very pleased with the new direction and we cant express how elated we are to have such a unique opportunity. I feel melancholy that I must leave a great group of professionals at Skyview Elementary and that I wont be able to connect with them on a daily basis. The learning curve was steep at Skyview, as will be the learning curve at HPISD. Skyview has prepared me for this next endeavor and I look forward to working with my colleagues in professional learning networks over the course of my career. Thank you Skyview friends!
