Hello, Friends! Here is the prayer for today...October 22, 2014.. Lord, we pray for everyone that is in an anxious place of waiting….waiting for loved ones to be saved…waiting for your provision….waiting for wayward children to return…waiting for marriages to be restored…waiting for a mate…waiting for healing…Lord, may we find you in the midst of whatever circumstances we find ourselves in. May we find peace and comfort in your arms and may we find contentment walking by your side in our wilderness times. The enemy is always taunting us while we wait…always trying to plant seeds of doubt...trying to get us to question you...trying to make us think that we know better than you what we need and how things should be done. Help us to be strong in our faith while we wait and may we have the wisdom and discernment to see things clearly and the boldness to cast him aside, just like Jesus did during his 40 days in the desert. We know you will give us the ability to overcome and a way of escape that we might endure our hardships and temptations. Lord, help us not to question...or become resentful or bitter...may we become softer instead of hardened...may we find your peace in the midst of our storms and waiting. If you deny us our desires, it is for our good. If you have us wait, it serves a purpose. May we always remember your loving thoughts towards us and not believe the lies that you don’t care, or you are neglectful. We know someday we will see and understand all that you have allowed into our lives…may we me humble and submit to your will...may we daily become more like Christ and be all that youve called us to be. Help us never to settle for less than your best and may we never seek our own ways, but always yours. Thank you for your patience with us while we learn and grow. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen Blessings to you all! Much love in Him, Debbie
