Hello Friends! One thing common to men who have left indelible prints on the sands of time is passion. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines passion as "a strong devotion to an activity, object or concept". What are you doing to rekindle the passion in your life? No one will perform at his or peak in any endeavour without passion. Life is besieged with too many challenges not to have passion, you may not hit your goal at first attempt, friends and colleagues may disappoint you, things may not turn out as planned which makes it so easy to give up. However, passion is what keeps you going despite the seemingly stumbling blocks and disappointment. Peak performance is dependent on passion, determination and a willingness not to give up too soon amongst other factors. However, passion cannot be sustained without a full grasp of purpose. Without purpose, passions comes and go in bits and pieces; purpose fuels passion and inspiration keeps the flame of passion burning. The best inspiration comes from the Holy Spirit and your true purpose can only be discovered from the word of God. "But there is a spirit in man: the inspiration of the Almighty gives him understanding" (Job 32:8). Do you want to fan the embers of your passion in order to get and sustain peak performance? Then yield yourself to the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the word. Everything runs out and dry eventually, but the Holy Spirit supplies you with the dynamic ability to reproduce your passion over and over without running out or dry.
