Hello Friends, When discussing parents or spouses who walk out of their families, I am referring simply to what the Bible refers to as abandonment. This is vastly different than a spouse who needs to leave for their own safety. Two very different things. God does not condone abuse, and one of the healthiest things a parent can do is to model setting limits on abusive behavior (boundaries) and showing their child that they will not allow someone else to harrass, exploit, intimidate or bully them. This is not what God desires to be within marriage.
