Hello Friends, You know sometimes we focus so much on God that we forget about other people. Somehow we get confused and think that a relationship with God only involves the spiritual realm and has nothing to do with the real world. But that is flawed thinking. God doesnt want us to ignore the real world. He wants us to bring a spiritual dimension into it. You only have to look at the life of Jesus to realize that God does not want us isolated in some monastery (or even the church sanctuary) instead of the mall. Jesus walked the streets and met the people. He lovingly embraced the children, touched the lepers and healed the sick. He was moved with compassion and responded to the hurts and needs of the people. He didnt hide Himself in the temple or seclude Himself behind body guards. Jesus, the King of the Universe, humbled himself and connected with the people and brought the Kingdom of God to them. There is only one example worthy of following, and it is that of Jesus Christ. Love is not know unless its shown. May your thoughts, words and deeds be congruent and draw others into a loving relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
