Hello Friends and Family, Im writing to you as a ministry - TopicsExpress

Hello Friends and Family, Im writing to you as a ministry partner. As many of you know i have been involved with an inner-healing ministry called Sozo for about 6-7 years, also working in a chaplain role with the Salvation Army in disasters around the country. Both of these roles have to do with working with folks dealing with trauma and disasters in their life. Both of which are very fruitful and rewarding. I have an opportunity to travel to Warsaw, Poland along with my oldest son Joey in October with a team to train in Sozo Ministry to local churchs. Along with that, I feel called to go to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the concentration camp which is about 3 hrs from Warsaw. I believe the Lord is calling me there for a couple of reasons, first is to pray, pray over the grounds, and the people that were killed there as well as those living there today. I also will interview survivors to get their stories, but also to video and photograph the things we see while there. My plan is to share with others what we see and do while in Poland when we return either to small groups, church’s or with whomever might want to see. I believe this story cannot die, it must live on for others coming behind us. There were over 1,500,000 people killed there which makes it a very hard place to visit. Im asking each of you to partner with me in this mission trip to Poland. I believe prayer is the most important thing you can do. Financial support is also needed, if you feel lead please help financially any way you can. I know our God is a God of restoration, reconciliation, and forgiveness and I believe along with MY life being changed, that many other lives will be impacted by this trip. When it comes to missions, people can be active in three categories: 1. Mobilizers - These are the people who build the fire in their local church, keeping others informed of the needs and opportunities, and helping them get involved. 2. Goers - These are the ones who feel called to spend time in another culture, live a different kind of life, and minister face to face with the unsaved. 3. Senders - Its hard to say that one of these three groups is more important than any other, but without the senders not much will happen. They provide the funds--and more importantly--the prayer support. Prayer is the fuel that will allow us to be successful as we follow Gods leading in ministry in these foreign countries. Without prayer nothing will happen. If you feel lead to send, please send to, Tom Brustad 1189 Cleveland ave St.Paul, Mn. 55116 Please be in prayer that lives will be transformed thru this trip. God Bless each of you.
