Hello Gitxaala Nation. Ive seen pics and posts about the dogs in kitkatla making a mess of ppls garbage. These poor dogs are starving. Why doesnt someone step forward and gather up the dogs and ship them off to Rupert. The SPCA would gladly send u kennels. I did this in the past with the band admin support along with the RCMP. I rescued almost 30 dogs and shipped them to Rupert for free on the ferry and plane. The dogs were adopted out to loving ppl as far as Terrace, Prince George and Vancouver. When I did this our community hit the news paper in Rupert, Terrace, Prince George, and Vancouver. And one of the things that was mentioned in the paper was that are we in poverty why we cant feed our dogs ? And The Prince George Animal rescue sent Kitkalta a truck load of dog food and blankets for the community dogs. Lets not see this happen again. We all should think responsible before owning a pet. Lets all educate ourselves and teach our younger generation. Thank you all. HAVE YOUR PET SPAYED OR NETURED 🐈🐶
