Hello! Hope everyone is enjoying a blessed holiday season. Peeking out from our parade of guests (seriously, one set left this morning, my sister and her family arrive shortly) to share one of my Christmas gifts. As an editor, I spent an extraordinary amount of time sitting, which we all know is not good for a number of reasons. Notice the specific usage of past tense: I spent. Bought myself a sit-to-stand desk frame (it changes positions with the touch of a button) and my daddy built a custom oak top. Wonderful to work at, and standing I definitely am more alert and engaged. Also gives me additional workspace. Very much looking forward to beginning new projects in January, healthier and more energetic.
