Hello, I am Karen Bowman From Robinson Illinois. I have a FREE STORE I run out of my garage to help those in need. This is going into my second year having the FREE STORE. I am not asking for myself but for our customers.....We need a donated building with utilities it is a very blessed charity to be a part of . I have many volunteers who donate their time for free, and I also have I have a donated store in a neighboring town, Palestine Illinois that is donated and utilities out of their own pocket. I am asking that you mention on your show that the Robinson FREE STORE needs a donated building or sponsor to help us spread out donated items out past my garage. I can only be open on nice days because we have to pull everything out as if it were a garage sale, except everything is FREE! Kool Kreations at another neighboring town Oblong IL. is also going to start carrying some free items for us in her self employed sewing store. They struggle also but are still very willing to help us. A barber in town, Tim Bennett, gave us a small garage that had caught fire , he is letting us use it, but first we have to remodel it of course so we need donated materials. It doesnt solve the problem because it is small, and we need electric and other utilities, but they are all burnt as well. I dont mean to sound ungrateful, I appreciate it very much and I am not complaining, I am asking for your endorsement Even though Palestine and Oblong help us, Robinson is the bigger town and people depend on us to be there and help them start out life, or to get clothes and items when they dont have money to buy the extras in life. Please help us to get the word out that we really would be grateful for a place and we would keep it nice, we just dont have money. No matter what comes into the store, we give it away, furniture, clothes anything and everything that is donated is always given away for free. I love your show and the things you so to help small town needs. I laughed so hard today when your guy was acting like he worked for the LEGO store, Thank you for reading Ellen.
