Hello, I am always trying to learn new things about Aussies and - TopicsExpress

Hello, I am always trying to learn new things about Aussies and this group has been very informative. I would be thrilled to also learn about my own dogs structure and movement so Ive made a video that hopefully gives a clear picture. It would be great if any of you with a lot of knowledge would be interested in watching it and give me (and others interested) some feedback - whats good and whats not so good. Heres some info: My dog is ASCA and FCI registered, she is 8 years old on the video and she was spayed sometime after her 2nd heat. She has never been bred, she also has never been shown in a conformation ring and I dont (yet) know anybody who could correctly evaluate her in person. She is not bathed or groomed on the video and please keep in mind that the hair on her lower back stands up quite horribly :) She is free stacked, I am only helping her move slightly forward on the clip that shows her hind legs. She is also moving freely, most of the footage is from where I was accompanying her on a bike (if you cant see me, Im on a bike trying not to fall over with my camera and everything). Shes very fast and agile, can make tight turns at full speed and has no problems with endurance on long hikes. Her hips are graded B/B and elbows 0/0. If any of the video is not ok, I can try and make a better recording. Perhaps we were going to fast in the side gait and she is thus overreaching this much, or is it just a result of her conformation? The very last clip is just for fun :)
