Hello! I am just after some advice I hope thats ok? I rescued a doggy two days ago from Cheshire dogs home (would have come to bleakholt but I have a daughter under 5). I got a shitzu who they have aged around 12months old. She was found as a stray, her fur all matted, thin and with only one eye (poor thing :( ) anyway, she is a lovely and very friendly baby, but has some toileting issues which I expected. Ive never toileted a dog before so its all new to me anyway, but she seems to not even want to go in front of us. She sneaks off and does it . Luckily always in my kitchen on the laminate! Shes 100% settled and is honestly really happy as you can see from the pic, but she just wont wee around us- even when Ive stood 45 mins in the garden repeatedly saying wee wee. When she does it in the house I show her, say wee wee and take her to the garden- I dont shout or anything just say it calmly. Any advise on how to let her know its ok to go in front of us? I know praise is the key but if shes not doing it I cant praise her xx
